Coaching Should Evolve As You Do

You shouldn’t need the same level of coaching forever.

My approach is designed to meet you where you are today while building the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become more independent over time.

We start by establishing your foundation—how you move, how you warm up, how you lift, and why your program is structured the way it is. As your technique, strength, and confidence improve, your coaching can evolve with you.

Learn the foundation. Build the skills. Develop the ability to train confidently.

YOUR COACHING PATH

Learn. Progress. Evolve.

Good coaching should do more than guide you through a workout. It should teach you how to train.

LEARN
We start with your foundation: movement assessment, mobility, warm-ups, lifting technique, and understanding your individualized program.

PROGRESS
As your skills develop, we build strength through progressive overload, refine technique, and help you become more confident training independently between sessions.

EVOLVE
As your knowledge, skills, and abilities grow, your coaching can change with you. You may continue with regular 1:1 coaching or transition to maintenance coaching, Strength Lab, flexible sessions, or more independent training.

The goal is to give you the tools to train confidently and independently while always knowing you have an experienced coach in your corner.

1:1 STRENGTH COACHING

Build Your Foundation

For clients who want consistent, individualized support, 1:1 coaching is where we build the foundation.

Every new client begins with a movement assessment so I can understand how you move, your training history, current abilities, and goals. From there, we build your strength program, mobility and warm-up work, and lifting technique around you.

Choose from weekly or twice-weekly coaching depending on how much hands-on support, accountability, and practice you need.

Your coaching includes individualized programming, mobility, technique development, nutrition support, progress check-ins, and continued education—not just the time we spend together in the gym.

As you become stronger, more knowledgeable, and more confident training independently, we can adjust the level of coaching you need.

CONTINUED COACHING

As You Become More Independent

As your knowledge, skills, and confidence grow, you may not need weekly coaching anymore. That doesn’t mean you have to choose between regular personal training and being completely on your own.

I offer several ways for experienced clients to stay connected to coaching while training primarily independently:

MAINTENANCE COACHING
Ongoing monthly support for clients who want one 1:1 session each month along with programming, nutrition coaching, weekly check-ins, and video feedback.

COACHING FLEX PACK
Ten 1:1 sessions to use over six months for continued technique work, program progression, movement assessments, and periodic accountability—without a recurring coaching schedule.

COACHING TUNE-UP
A single 1:1 session for previous clients who want an experienced set of eyes on their technique, movement, or a specific lift.

Your coaching can increase or decrease as your goals and needs change. The goal is to keep the right amount of support available without requiring more coaching than you need.

STRENGTH LAB

Strength Coaching + Community

Strength Lab is a small-group coaching option for lifters who want hands-on technique coaching, continued education, and the accountability of training alongside others.

Sessions combine purposeful strength training with individualized coaching and feedback. We’ll focus on the major barbell lifts, mobility and warm-up strategies, technique, and understanding how to apply what you learn to your own training.

Strength Lab includes:

  • Small group of up to eight lifters

  • Guided warm-up and mobility

  • Barbell technique coaching

  • Individual movement feedback

  • Strength programming focus

  • Continued education and community

Strength Lab can be used as your primary coaching option or alongside more independent training and an American Strength Training Center membership.

NUTRITION COACHING

Nutrition That Supports Your Goals

Nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated, but it should be individualized.

Nutrition coaching is designed to help you understand how to fuel your body based on your goals, activity level, training, and lifestyle. We’ll use your progress, feedback, and real-life data to make adjustments while building habits you can maintain long term.

Coaching may include:

  • Personalized calorie and macro targets

  • Weekly nutrition check-ins

  • Macro adjustments based on progress

  • Step and cardio recommendations

  • Progress tracking

  • Nutrition education and practical strategies

  • Weekly email support

Whether your goal is improving body composition, supporting strength and performance, or simply developing a better understanding of your nutrition, the goal is to give you a plan and teach you how to use it.

Nutrition Coaching is available as a standalone service and is also included in Weekly, Twice Weekly, and Maintenance Coaching.

COMPETITION COACHING

Ready to Take Your Strength to the Stage or Platform?

Competition coaching is available for athletes preparing for bodybuilding competitions and powerlifting meets, whether you’re considering your first competition or returning with a specific performance goal.

BODYBUILDING PREP
Individualized coaching may include training programming, nutrition, weekly check-ins, posing, competition planning, peak week, show-day support, and post-show reverse dieting.

POWERLIFTING MEET PREP
Meet preparation focuses on squat, bench, and deadlift technique, individualized programming and progression, attempt selection, meet-day strategy, and building confidence under competition standards.

Competition coaching is customized based on your sport, experience, timeline, and the level of support you need.

“Not only does Angela have the book knowledge, but she has the personal experiences of lifting and growing as well as an athlete who's competed and trained for different sports.

Angela’s coaching approach is very hands-on. She is able to teach with knowledge and examples. She has helped me with weight loss, learning how to manage what I eat for the goals I have, and better weight training form to help avoid injuries and gain strength.

I came to Angela with limited knowledge based on my own experiences through the sports I have done. I did not have a very good understanding of nutrition or how to manage what, and how much to eat to hit my goals. Whether it be to lose weight and/or gain muscle.

Over time, Angela has given me the building blocks to be successful in my own fitness journey going forward.

I've been around gyms for a long time. I think one of the best things about Angela as a coach is the fact that she lives out personally what she teaches for training and nutrition.”

“Working with Angela has been the best decision I have ever made!

Angela had her hands full with me, as I have a full knee replacement and 3 disc fusion in my neck. Initially, she performed an assessment to see exactly what my limitations were and she provided the tools to effectively improve them as we have gone. All which have helped me learn so much about my mobility, ranges of motion and the “why” behind my training plan.

Angela's coaching is individualized. She gives not only knowledge, but guidance, motivation and a plan. 1:1 sessions with her have helped me with improving my mobility and understanding of good technique.

Before starting with Angela, I was the heaviest I have ever been and now coming up on 2 years of working with her. In the first year, we dropped my body weight 50lbs and eventually added in strength training sessions.

I now can squat, kneel and get up from the floor. I learned how to use a barbell for the first of many times, and I even ran my first 5k. All things I couldn't do when we first started together and I am doing more (while pain free!) than I ever have done in all of my 60 years!”

Angela’s coaching is definitely hands-on and a very direct no nonsense technique to get the desired job done in the most effective and beneficial way.

With Angela, I actually learned how to squat correctly. She taught me how to keep my core strong during the movement which has helped alleviate back problems I have had. Also, she taught me how to properly engage my glutes and I have definitely noticed an increase in glute development from that.

I used to just workout and eat properly and not focus on the little things to make myself better. I now spend time every session working on ROM, breaking up knots, and working on using proper breathing techniques to keep my core safe.

I really enjoyed learning new techniques to help break up my numerous muscle knots and ways to increase ROM with dynamic and static stretching. I am extremely happy with the results.
